What is the PAC?

The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is the official voice of all parents and caregivers at DPE. If you’re a parent or guardian of a student here, you’re already a valued member!

Together, we:

  • Organize fun school activities– from hot lunch and treat days to special events that bring our community together
  • Fundraise for important resources and programs– supporting classroom materials, technology, field trips, and more
  • Plan school-wide celebrations and events– creating memorable experiences for students and families
  • Support staff and students– providing hands-on help and funding to enrich learning and school life

Being part of PAC is a great way to stay connected, have your voice heard, and make a positive impact on your child’s school experience.

Volunteer Opportunities

Whether you can give a little time or a lot, we’d love your help! The PAC runs entirely on volunteers, and every contribution makes a difference. From one-time tasks to ongoing roles, there’s something for everyone—no matter your schedule, skills, or experience. Even a small commitment helps support programs, events, and resources that benefit OUR children. Together, we can build a stronger school community!

How to Get Started

  • Attend PAC meetings– Stay informed about what’s happening at the school, share your ideas, and have a say in decisions that affect our kids.
  • Connect with your school’s PAC Executive Team– Reach out with questions, suggestions, or to learn more about ways you can be involved.
  • Volunteer for events and activities– Whether it’s helping with a fundraiser, supporting a school event, or lending a hand behind the scenes, every bit of help makes a big difference.
  • Drop in anytime– Attend a meeting, sign up to help, or simply come say hello and meet other parents—you don’t have to commit to anything right away.
